New Mahindra XUV300 has launched in India at Rs 7.9 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the all new XUV300 compact SUV in India at Rs. 7.9 Lakh(Ex-showroom).The XUV300 gets four variants each for petrol and diesel which are W4, W6 W8 and W8 (O).It is going rival the Maruti Suzuki vitara Brezza,Hyundai Creta,Ford Ecosport and Tata Nexon.

The Mahindra XUV300 is builted based on the SsangYong Tivoli’s X100 platform, which has been modified in order to fit in the sub 4-metre bracket.The XUV300 is still the widest compact SUV on sale and also has the longest wheelbase(2620 mm) in its segment.

 

The XUV300 is powered by 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine in which petrol engine makes 110 bhp and 200Nm torque while the diesel engine pumps out 115 bhp and 300Nm of torque.The engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox for now, with an AMT set to be introduced in the XUV300 in the upcoming months.The XUV300’s  claimed a fuel-efficiency of 17kpl for the petrol variant and 20kpl for the diesel variant.

Features include two airbags, ABS, disc brakes on all four wheels, LED tail-lights and all four power windows. In addition to those, the W8 gets dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a reverse camera, cruise control,electric sunroof while the top variant W8 (O) gets class leading features in the form of 7 airbags,front parking sensors and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Honda Motorcycles has launched the new CB300R in India at Rs 2.41 lakh(ex-showroom,India) .It will be going to sold via Honda's premium Wing World dealerships(22) across India and bookings are open at a down payment of Rs.5000.

The CB3000R comes in via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route for the Indian market designed based on the neo sports café’ concept to rival the 300cc bikes in India like KTM 390 Duke,BMW G 310 R ,TVS Apache RR 310,Kawasaki Ninja 300.

 

C3000R powered by 286cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder DOHC motor that is paired to a 6-speed gearbox offering dual-channel ABS which makes 30.4hp at 8,000rpm and 27.4Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.It is also get ABS G-Sensor while IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) offers equitable front to rear distribution of ABS based on vehicle posture and offering optimum control to rider in the event of sudden braking.Its low kerb weight of 147kg which makes it is one of the lightest bikes in the 300cc segment with a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.

Features include rounded headlamp with brushed metal rim, flat aluminum handlebars, LED lighting, a fully digital TFT instrument console and a simple LED taillamp and indicator.The bike is going to Offered in two color choices of Matte Axis Gray Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red.

New Maruti Suzuki Wagon R launched in India at Rs 4.19 lakh

New Maruti Suzuki 2019 Wagon R has launched in India at Rs 4.19 lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).The new 2019 Wagon R comes primarily in three variants - LXI, VXI and ZXI, offered in seven iterations based on the engine and transmission option.

The new Wagon R is Powered with 1.2-litre petrol of 83hp and 1.0-litre petrol engine of  68hp which are paired to a 5-speed gearbox.The 5-speed AMT or AGS  is offered in both engines.The third generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR is bigger and better than outgoing model and the engine claims 22.5 kmpl of Mileage.

New Wagon R is now built on the Heartect platform which increases safety of occupants through effective absorption of impact and dispersion of crash energy and assures stability for better strength, safety, rigidity and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) performance.

The new Wagon R gets a brand new front fascia, new bumper design and a distinctive chrome grille. It also gets new rear windscreen design while top end variants get rear windshield washer and wiper. Interiors get a new touchscreen infotainment system which the system is called as 'SmartPlay Studio' which offers smartphone connectivity, vehicle information, and cloud-based services along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Tata Harrier launched in India at Rs 12.69 lakh

Tata Motors has finally launched the new SUV Harrier at a price of Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom).The new Harrier is the most promising model from the manufacturer yet with all-new OMEGARC (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture) modular platform.

The five-seat SUV is available in four variants : the base Harrier XE are the mid-spec XM (Rs 13.75 lakh), XT (Rs 14.95 lakh) and XZ (Rs 16.25 lakh).

The Harrier powered with Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 140hp and 350Nm of torque which is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.Harrier comes with multiple drive modes (Eco, City and Sport) and terrain response modes for Normal, Rough and Wet driving conditions.

Harrier offers an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7.0-inch screen for the part-digital instrument cluster, a JBL sound system, leather upholstery, reverse camera, automatic headlights and wipers, automatic climate control,cruise control,fast charging slots, rain sensing wipers, and 8-way adjustable driver seat.

Safety features include 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP), electronic traction control, hydraulic brake assist, corner stability control, hill descent control, roll over mitigation, rear parking sensor and camera, perimetric alarm system, central locking, and ISOFIX anchor points.

2019 Honda CB1000R+ launched in India at Rs 14.46 lakh

Honda has just launched all-new CB1000R+ naked sports bike in India at Rs 14.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and  started accepting bookings form Honda Wing World dealerships.The new model is lighter and more powerful than the model it replaces which only available 'Graphite Black' in India.

The CB1000R+ is basically the naked version of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade which likes to call the design language ‘Neo Sports Café’ and the new motorcycle is neo-retro styling with round LED headlight.

The new CB1000R+ uses a Fireblade-derived 998c, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder motor that makes 16 percent more power and five percent more torque in the mid-range(104Nm at 8,250rpm)with single-sided swingarm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which powers 123hp to 143hp.The new CB features ride-by-wire, four riding modes,power settings and traction control system.

The new updated CB gets ABS-equipped radial brakes with Suspension hardware consists of a 43mm Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork-Big Piston) USD fork and a Showa BRFC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock at the rear is fully-adjustable as well. The bike weighs 212kg down by 12kg than its predecessor.

KTM 125 Duke Equipped with ABS launched at Rs 1.18 lakh

KTM 125 Duke equipped with ABS has launched in India at Rs 1.18 Lakh(ex-showroom, Delhi).The new 125 Duke naked sport is KTM's most affordable motorcycle for the Indian bike market with redesigned graphics and it is also the first 125cc segment motorcycle in India to feature ABS.

The new motorcycle has been equipped with a single-channel ABS unit similar to the 200 Duke. The 125 Duke is also the first 125cc segment motorcycle in India to feature ABS; which will be mandatory for all two-wheelers above 125cc capacity from April 1, 2019.It makes use of a trellis frame and an aluminum swingarm and  a 10-step monoshock in the rear and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The India-spec offering comes with a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that makes 14.5PS at 9.250rpm and generates 12Nm at 8,000rpm which mated to a 6-speed transmission gear-box,albeit with no slipper clutch.A trellis frame that KTM uses for all its Dukes,43mm USD fork and an adjustable monoshock are available as standard.The Braking System consists of a 300mm single-disc brake at the front and a 230mm at the rear and a Seat height of 818mm.

Mahindra has just launched the 2018 Alturas G4 in India at Rs 26.95 lakh for 2WD variant and the top-spec 4WD trim at Rs 29.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).the new Alturas G4 is the biggest and the most premium SUV to be launched by mahindra for a rebadged second-gen Ssangyong Rexton.

The Alturas G4 gets ladder-frame chassis and is larger in every dimension than its predecessor(Rexton). It dimensions are 4,850mm in length, 1,960mm in width, 1,825mm in height and has a 2,865mm long wheelbase with 244mm ground clearance.

Royal Enfield launched both Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 in India

Royal Enfield has launched the much awaited 650 twins in India i.e the interceptor 650 at a price of Rs 2.50 lakh, while the base Continental GT 650 at a price of Rs 2.65 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) and both the bikes will be offered in three variants - Standard, Classic, and Custom.The top custom variant Interceptor 650 Chrome has been priced at Rs 2.70 lakh, while the Continental GT 650 Chrome is Rs 2.85 lakh. he new 650 twins are the most powerful motorcycles from Royal Enfield

 

Both the motorcycles are powered by all-new 648cc, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected, parallel-twin motor churning out 47hp at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,250rpm. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-assist clutch. The fuel tank capacity of the Interceptor 650 is 13.4 litres, while the Continental GT 650 has a tank capacity of 12.5 litres. Ground clearance is identical on both the bikes, at 174mm, while the Interceptor tips the scale at 202kg (dry weight):the cafe racer is slightly lighter, at 198kg (dry weight).The both bikes are capable of top speeds in excess of 160 kmph.

 

The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 and the Interceptor 650 will gets with the conventional 41 mm telescopic front forks and twin shock absorbers for the rear suspension. The Braking system will be handled by a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. Both bikes will come with dual-channel ABS as standard. The bikes will also ride on large 18-inch wheels wire-spoked wheels.The Interceptor 650 is a retro roadster with an upright riding stance while the Continental GT 650 carries forward the design language of the now-discontinued Continental GT 535.

Maruti Suzuki 2018 Ciaz Facelift Launched in India at Rs.8.19 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched 2018 Ciaz Facelift in India at ₹ 8.19 Lakh onwards.The Ciaz now comes with an all-new 104hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine that’s mated to either a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual gearbox.

It also gets the tried and tested 1.3-litre diesel engine mated to a manual gearbox. The Ciaz facelift is available in four variants.

The new engine comes with the choice of a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed AT torque converter. The diesel variants, on the other hand, are still powered by the 1.3-litre DDiS 200 unit that makes 90PS of max power and 200Nm of peak torque and it is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.The all-new 1.5-litre K15B engine making 105PS@6000rpm and 138Nm@4400rpm.

Hero Motocorp :2018 Xtreme 200R has launched at Rs.89,900

Hero motocorp has launched new Xtreme 200R at Rs 89,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).The bike's price is competitive and comes well below the likes of the TVS RTR 200 4V (Rs 96,730 to Rs 1.10 lakh) and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 (Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.12 lakh).

In terms of design, the Hero Xtreme 200R is very similar to its younger sibling, the Xtreme Sports; however, it is sharper and sportier looking. Still, the two-tone colour combination and graphics are a bit too dramatic and seem to be overdone. The tail section is much cleaner though the split-seat option makes way for a more conventional single seat.

Features include LED DRLs and LED tail-lamps. Highlights are a single channel ABS, a first for Hero. The semi-digital instrument cluster offers basic information such as the speedometer, odometer, fuel-range, a clock and a service indicator.

The Hero Xtreme 200R is powered by a single-cylinder, carburetted, air-cooled, two-valve, 200 cc engine which puts out 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The Xtreme 200R will be available with single-channel ABS and a choice of five colours - Heavy Grey with Orange, Black with Sports Red, Sports Red, Panther Black with Force Silver, and Techno Blue.
