BGauss has launched its latest electric scooter, the RUV 350, in India. The new scooter aims to compete in the growing electric two-wheeler segment with its focus on design and features.
New BGauss RUV 350 comes in three variants: RUV 350i EX, RUV 350 EX and RUV 350 Max. The base variant starts at an attractive Rs 1.10 lakh(ex-showroom), making it a competitive option in the market and price goes up to Rs 1.35(ex-showroom) lakh for the top variant RUV 350 Max.
The key highlights of the RUV 350 is its 16-inch wheels, a rarity in the electric scooter segment. This design choice promises a smoother ride compared to its competitors with smaller wheels.
The BGauss RUV 350 packs a 3.5 kW electric motor that delivers a peak torque of 165 Nm and a top speed of 75 kmph. The battery is a 3 kWh lithium LFP unit, offering a range of 90-120 kms/charge depending on the variant you choose. The battery can be charged 0-80% in 5 hours using a 500W charger.
The RUV 350 base variant gets a basic LCD display, but the higher end EX and Max variants boast with a features rich 5-inch TFT color display. This display shows call notifications, turn-by-turn navigation and other useful information. Other features on the top variants include cruise control, OTA updates, hill hold assist, a fall detection system and reverse mode.
The BG RUV 350 competes with popular electric scooters such as the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
