Honda Motorcycles has launched the CB300F Flex Fuel motorcycle in India, priced at Rs 1.70 lakh(ex-showroom). This marks a significant development as it is the first flex-fuel motorcycle in the 300cc segment in the country, capable of running on an ethanol-gasoline blend of up to 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline.

The motorcycle retains the sleek design of its petrol counterpart, with minor aesthetic updates. It is available in two color options: Sports Red and Mat Axis Grey Metallic, differing from the standard model which also includes blue.

The CB300F Flex Fuel is powered by a 293.5cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, delivering a maximum power output of 24.5 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 25.9 Nm at 5,500 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear shifts. The bike equipped with dual-channel ABS, traction control, and a robust braking system comprising a 276mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc.

The bike features a fully digital instrument cluster that now includes an Ethanol Indicator, alerting riders when the ethanol content exceeds 85%. Other information displayed includes speed, odometer, fuel gauge, and gear position.

The launch aligns with India’s push towards more environmentally friendly fuel options, supporting the government’s Ethanol Blended Petrol (EBP) program. Bookings for the Honda CB300F Flex Fuel have commenced at Honda’s BigWing dealerships across India, with deliveries expected to start shortly.
