Hyundai India has launched a special Knight Edition of their sub-compact SUV, the Exter, to celebrate its first anniversary in the country. The new Exter Knight Edition gets an all-black theme with red accents for a sportier look, with price starting at Rs 8.38 lakh(ex-showroom).
Exter Knight Edition: What’s New?
The Exter Knight Edition is based on the top-of-the-line SX and SX(O) variants of the regular Exter. Here’s a quick look at the key changes:
- Blacked-out front grille, skid plates and door sill garnish
- Red accents on the front bumper and rear tailgate
- Red brake calipers
- Black 15-inch alloy wheels
- New dual-tone colour options: Ranger Khaki with black roof and Shadow Grey with black roof
While the Exter Knight Edition boasts a new look, but remains unchanged mechanically. It retains the same 1.2-litre Kappa naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and an automated manual transmission (AMT).
The Hyundai Exter Knight Edition is priced between Rs 8.38 lakh and Rs 10.43 lakh(ex-showroom), depending on the variant. Bookings are now open, with deliveries expected to begin soon.
