Kia Motors entry level SUV Seltos has launched in the Indian market with price ranges between Rs 9.69 lakh and 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).It is available in a total of 8 variants with 6 different engine-gearbox options.
The features include 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity.Kia’s UVO Connect suite eatures using an embedded eSIM for Navigation, Safety and Security, Vehicle Management, Remote Control and Convenience.Also gets leather upholstery, an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, 17-inch alloys, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, an in-car air purifier, cruise control, a head-up display, a 360-degree parking camera and ambient lighting.
It gets all-LED headlamps, DRLs and front fog lamps while the tail lights feature stylish LED elements along with a faux skid-plate.The GT Line variants also gets added features an all-black theme with red stitching.Safety features include the top-spec Seltos trims feature six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist, front and rear parking sensors and a blind-spot view monitor.
The Seltos is powered by the BS6-compliant engine with 3 options i.e.two petrol and one diesel engine.The 1.5-litre petrol engine churns out 115hp and 144Nm of torque and is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic option. The 1.4-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine is good for 140hp and 242Nm of peak torque and comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The diesel engine displaces 1.5 litres and makes 115hp and 250Nm of torque, mated to 6-speed manual or torque convertor automatic gearbox options.
