New Maruti Suzuki XL6 premium MPV has launched in India at Rs 9.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).It is going to available in two trims – Zeta and Alpha with two individual captain chairs for the middle row.
The XL6 which is based on the Ertiga, gets a revamped front fascia with highlights like a hexagonal front grille, all LED headlights,black cladding with silver inserts,a chunkier bumper and a faux skid-plate which also gets blacked-out 15-inch alloy wheels and mirror caps, roof rails and plastic side-body cladding.
The XL6 is powered by the BS6-compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine at 105hp and 138Nm of torque builted on Maruti’s SHVS mild-hybrid technology. It comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The features include the top-spec XL6 Alpha variant gets Maruti’s new Smart Play Studio infotainment unit, which comprises a 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple Car Play compatibility, automatic climate control, rear air-convents, automatic headlamps and wipers, LED DRLs, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, cruise control, a rear parking camera and height adjust for the driver’s seat with Standard safety equipment.
Maruti XL6 comes in six colour options – Nexa Blue, Brave Khaki, Auburn Red, Magma Grey, Premium Silver and Arctic White.It rivals with the Mahindra Marazzo,Honda BR-V and Renault Lodgy.
