Bajaj Auto has expanded its Chetak electric scooter lineup with the introduction of their most affordable variant yet, the Chetak 2901, Priced at ₹95,998 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 2901 aims to make electric mobility more accessible to a wider audience, particularly younger riders.
The Chetak 2901 boasts a bold new look with a metal body and five new vibrant color options: Red, White, Black, Lime Yellow, and Azure Blue. It retains the classic Chetak design we know and love, but with a modern twist that’s sure to turn heads.
The 2901 is equipped with a 2.88 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 123 km on a single charge according to ARAI certification. To achieve this attractive price point, Bajaj has reduced the top speed to 63 kmph compared to other Chetak variants. The charging time is also slightly slower at an estimated 6 hours for a full charge. It comes with a digital instrument cluster that displays vital information and boasts bluetooth connectivity, a feature often missing in budget-friendly options
Bajaj offers an optional TecPac variant for those seeking additional features. The TecPac equips the 2901 with features like hill hold assist, reverse mode, multiple riding modes (Sport and Economy), call and music control, follow-me-home lights and chetak app connectivity for an enhanced riding experience.
