The powerful new Porsche Panamera GTS has finally landed on Indian roads. This stunning four-door sports car boasts a starting price tag of Rs 2.34 crore (ex-showroom).
Under the hood of the Panamera GTS sits a heart-pounding 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns out 500 hp and 770 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8 speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission, this powerhouse can propel the car from 0 to 100 kmph in a mere 3.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 302 kmph.
The Panamera GTS isn’t just about raw power; it also boasts a distinctive design that sets it apart from standard Panamera. Blacked-out accents like the front grille and dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail-lamps lend the car an aggressive look, while the new 21-inch Turbo S center-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey add a touch of sophisticated flair.
The luxurious interior of the Panamera GTS gets a sporty makeover as well. The cabin is wrapped in Race-Tex suede-like material, which adorns the roof lining, armrests, door panels, and center panels of the seats. Porsche is also offering two GTS-exclusive interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, along with a Carbon matt interior package.
The Porsche Panamera GTS competes with other high-end sports sedans in the Indian market, such as the Maserati GranTurismo and the Aston Martin Rapide S with deliveries set to commence by the end of this year in India.
