Royal Enfield has launched the Bear 650 motorcycle in India, with prices starting at Rs 3.39 Lakh (ex-showroom). This new model, which debuted after a global reveal, is positioned as a scrambler variant of the popular Interceptor 650 and aims to cater to riders looking for an off-road-capable motorcycle.
The Bear 650 is powered by a 648cc parallel twin engine, delivering 47 hp and 56.5Nm of torque, which is an increase from the Interceptor’s torque of 52 Nm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and features a two-into-one exhaust system, enhancing performance while reducing weight.
The bike is equipped with long-travel suspension, including Showa USD forks at the front with 130mm travel and conventional rear springs with 115mm travel. It sports a new wheel configuration with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, wrapped in MRF Nylorex tyres.
Royal Enfield Bear 650 showcases a scrambler-style aesthetic, featuring a slightly raised seat, circular LED head and taillights. It also includes modern touches such as LED indicators and a TFT instrument cluster that supports smartphone connectivity and navigation. The bike features dual-channel ABS with dual disc brakes that can be switched off at the rear, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

The Bear 650 will be available in five color options:
Broadwalk White – Rs 3.39 lakh
Petrol Green – Rs 3.44 lakh
White Honey – Rs 3.44 lakh
Golden Shadow – Rs 3.51 lakh
Two Four Nine – Rs 3.59 lakh
