Tata Nexon CNG price in India
Tata Motors has officially launched the Nexon CNG in India, with price starting at Rs 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This new variant marks a significant addition to the Nexon lineup, making it India’s first turbo-charged CNG passenger car. The Nexon CNG is available in eight variants, with the top-spec variant priced at Rs 14.59 lakh.
The Nexon CNG SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged bi-fuel(petrol & CNG) engine that delivers 99 bhp of power and 170Nm of torque with a mileage of 24 km/kg, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle features twin-cylinder technology, allowing for a boot space of 321 litres.
The Nexon CNG maintains a similar design to its internal combustion engine counterparts but adds several premium features:
- A panoramic sunroof, which is a first in its segment.
- A 10.25-inch infotainment system and a matching digital instrument cluster.
- Additional features are leatherette ventilated seats, a wireless charger, sequential LED DRL’s and a comprehensive safety package including multiple airbags and electronic stability control.
The Nexon has been a popular choice among Indian consumers, having sold over 7.0 lakh units since its introduction in 2017, making it one of the best-selling SUVs in the country. It directly competing with likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG and Toyota Taisor CNG.
