BYD electric launched the eMax 7, an all-electric MPV in India at an introductory price of Rs. 26.90 lakh(ex-showroom). This model replaces the previous e6 MPV and is available in two variants: Premium and Superior.
The eMax 7 comes with two battery options: a 55.4 kWh pack for the Premium variant and a 71.8 kWh pack for the Superior variant. While the Premium variant offers a range of up to 420 km and the Superior variant boasts a range of 530 km on a single charge which can accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.6 seconds, whereas the Premium variant does it in 10.1 seconds.
The eMax 7 features a modern design with updated LED headlamps, a redesigned front bumper, and new alloy wheels. It is available in four colors: Quartz Blue, Cosmos Blue, Crystal White, and Harbour Grey. The interior has been upgraded with more premium materials and includes features like 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, which supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats and automatic climate control etc..
Both variants come equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), including adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.
