Classic Legends has launched the new Jawa 42 FJ in India at a price of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 42 FJ is a special edition model with more powerful and feature-rich version of the standard Jawa 42.
The Jawa 42 FJ is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 28.7 hp and 29.6 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The 42 FJ has a top speed of 0 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The 42 FJ features a modern retro theme with tear drop shaped fuel tank and dual-tone colors. It also gets a headlight cowl, a redesigned instrument cluster with a digital readout, and a machined handlebar. Other features include new LED headlamp, a dual-channel ABS, a USB charging port and a larger fuel tank than the standard Jawa 42, at 14 litres.
The Jawa 42 FJ is available in 5 colours: Cosmo Blue, Aurora Green, Mystic Copper, Matte Deep Black, Matte Red Clad. Bookings are open now across India with deliveries expected to start coming soon.
